Articles are selected for publication in the Humanistika on the basis of a double-blind review process. Authors and co-authors of submissions to the Humanistika are expected to review manuscripts for the Journal. The Humanistika Editor reserves the right to refuse submissions from authors who repeatedly fail to provide reviews for the Journal when invited to do so.
Submissions to the Humanistika should be no longer than 7,000 words. The word count includes the main body of text, notes, references, and the headers of tables and figures. It does not include the title page, Abstract, or Supporting Information. Manuscripts at or near the maximum length will be subjected to special editorial review to determine whether their length is justified. A manuscript that exceeds the 7,000 word limit will be returned without review unless the author specifically requests and justifies an exemption, and the Editor grants the request.

There you will find important information about preparing your manuscript for submission and about the submission process itself. Submissions that do not conform to the requirements listed in the Guidelines may not be reviewed.
Manuscripts that have been accepted for publication in the Humanistika have additional requirements with respect to style, formatting, and availability of replication files. These are described on the Guidelines for Accepted Articles page. Note that these additional requirements generally must be addressed before the final draft of the manuscript is submitted and sent to the publisher.
